Talecris Biotherapeutics Named a "Fast 50" Company
Prestigious "Fast 50" list honors the Triangle area's fastest-growing privately held companies
RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, N.C. (November 3, 2006) – The Triangle Business Journal, PricewaterhouseCoopers and the Council for Entrepreneurial Development have named Talecris Biotherapeutics a "Fast 50" award winner for 2006. The annual sought-after list honors Research Triangle Park's 50 fastest-growing privately held companies and their contributions to the growth and success of the entire community. Talecris was announced as the twelfth fastest growing private company at a November 2, 2006 celebration.
"Being recognized among the Triangle's most elite and fast-growing companies can be directly attributed to the excellent work of our talented employees. The "Fast 50" award winners were appraised confidentially by PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, who evaluated locally headquartered private companies based on a formula which takes into account both dollar growth and percentage rate of growth over a three-year period. To be considered companies were required to have had at least $3 million in revenue in 2005. Talecris and fellow "Fast 50" companies are profiled in an in-depth special Fast 50 Awards section in the November 3rd issue of the Triangle Business Journal.
